intake temp sensor

Engine: 350
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: not sure
intake temp sensor
i have an 89 trans am GTA
i am in the middle of swapping the TPI back on from a carb.
it oroginally had the TPI in it,from the factory.
my question is i have 2 totally different type of plugs,
and i was wondering if there is supposed to be a special pigtail
that i am missing. also going by the schematics of the wiring harness
i am 99% sure that is the right plug,plus the location.
here are pics of the plugs.
