Note that for self-install you or some one you know has to be good at soldering.
The other way to go is to purchase a complete EBL Flash ECM. This is everything listed above, along with an ECM with the EBL Flash board installed. The additional cost of the ECM and installation is listed on the purchasing page. Feel free to email about the pricing.
If you are running a MPFI set up, such as TPI, this is where the optional Port Mod is used. It changes the injector firing rate to the proper once per revolution. TBI is twice per revolution.
This is great for those having '85 - '89 TPI MAF cars. Change a few pins/wires in the harness connector, plumb/wire in a MAP sensor, and plug in the EBL Flash ECM.
If swapping a TBI to a TPI set up, easy to use. Just need to change the connectors under the hood for the TPS, and injectors. And sometimes the IAC connector. Then plug in an EBL Flash ECM (w/Port Mod), and turn the key.
Note that the EBL Flash ECM wil run the CCP and EGR valve, along with closed loop fueling for emissions. It won't run a twin solenoid AIR system (aka: smog pump).

I would leave all of the smog pump equipment in place. At the ECM harness connectors, pop pins C1 and C2 out of the connector. Protect them and fold them back out of the way. A piece of plastic soda straw over the terminal/wire taped in place will protect it.
This should put the AIR valves in divert mode. All air goes to the atmosphere.
Note that there is a terminal R&R how to on the dynamicefi.com site.
No need for a different cat, or needing to worry about the cat.
Air to the cat can be maintained via another method. The EBL ECM has a output that goes active when in PE/WOT mode. Need to figure out the valve activation between divert mode and air to cat mode.
Set up the valves so that air goes to the cat. Then when in PE/WOT mode, the ECM PE/WOT output switches the valves to divert mode.
This has air to the cat during normal driving and cruising. Then when in PE/WOT mode, the air is diverted to atmosphere.
