Car: 1989 chevy camaro
Engine: 305 tbi
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 gears
ECM HELP?
i have a 1989 camaro rs and the guy i bought it from put a motor out of a 89 chevy truck into the car and changed the ecm and i was wondering if the truck ecm would be programed different than the camaro ecm it has the 1228746 ecm in it right now and it seems like the trans shifts at the wrong time didnt lnow if the ecm swap would cause this please help

have u try adjusting the trans cable? its located bisides the throttle cable it has adjustment in and out and that mill change the shifting response of the trany

yeah tried that to but now i think it may have just been the transmission because now i have lost 3rd and 4th gear not sure
