hypertech p.o.s.

so i bought my car a couple weeks ago and its a 5.0 tbi with nothing but a flowmaster and a hypertech chip. needless to say it runs INCREDIBLY rich. i've tried stock chips (same year motor etc...) they wont idle below about 2000-2500 rpm and the SES light flashes VERY quickly. any suggestions? i've done everything i can to make the best of the chip but cash is limited ya know? any help is appreciated thanks guys!

The rapidly flashing SES is from either the wrong chip or a corrupt chip. Get the Service No. off the paper label on the ECM and post it.

Also get the BCC (4 letter code) off the stock EPROM and post that. No need to post anything about the hypertech chip as we can't help you there.
