things connected/controlled to by ecm

Hey guys i have an 84 5 speed z28 that has/had the 305 h.o. engine with the computer controlled carb. I'm installing a gmpp 350/290hp engine in it an i'm planning on not using the ecm b/c im gonna use a 670 holley what i need to know is?: What sensors/ equipment/ and anything else is controlled/ connected to the ecm? I also am removing emissions equipment. All answers and responses are greatly appreciated i'm sure this thread would benefit many other members. Thanks Guys

Ummm....... Thanks for all the replies guys!?!? Seriously guys I need help figuring out everything i can remove i.e. emmissions equipment and other unnesesary equipment connected to the ecm?? HELP ME!!

Our Camaro was already ECM-less when we got it, but IIRC,

knock sensor, 02 sensor, distributor, fan(s), but not positive.

There may be a sticky or a few threads about what to remove. I recall a thread where the OP was told pretty much everything the ECM is connected to & almost all the harness on the passengers side.

Please double check for insanity prevention.
I'll see if I can find something also.

I entered -- ECM removal in the advanced search, and quite a few pages are there to look thru. Go thru them & see what catches your attention.
