Hey I'm in the process of looking for a chip for my car that I modded, its a 88 pontiac gta trans am with the 5.7L engine. I put heads, cammed it, and put an intake manifold on it, plus a few more bolt ons and took emissions components off. I have the stock injectors on the car right now. My question is that if I order a chip do I need bigger injectors on the car or will the chip take care of the fuel delivery wit the stock ones? and also i kno i dont have all the power i should from the setup thats y im assuming the chip should bring out the performance from the new setup right?

In both cases you need to datalog engine to see state of tune before or after changes in bin. consider making or purchasing a ALDL cable for laptop.

 

With bigger cc heads and cam, I would go with 26-30lb injectors...

 

Ok so wat exactly does that ALDL cable for the laptop do?
