i recently put any lt1 that i upgraded with the lt4 parts, cam, lifters, rockers, and intake, also i got an lt4 computer, well i put all of this in my 1991 trans am.

well my problem is that the car loads up under normal idle, or while in traffic and it will want stall, im not sure if is the computer or what, because i have no gauges.

so i want a little info on what should i look for to find out why it running like this, it will run like a raped ape above 3000 rpms.


also i would like to add some aftermarket gauge like water temp, oil pressure. just wanted to know where can you put the gauges.

 

First thing would be to check for error codes.
