Wont Start
Swapped tpi motor out of my 85 z28 to my 84rs. Car will not start checked all connections and ECM is getting power, added second fuse block for fuel injectors. Checked resistance on injectors and get 16.5 ohms across all 8 and 4.5 on the Cold start. Miss placed the Vss buffer box during the swap will this cause the car not to start? I just ordered one tonight also the tach is not working. Replaced ECM and get the same result. Any help is appreciated!

The VSS buffer won't keep the car from starting. What is the fuel pressure at the fuel rail? For a TPI, it should be 42-47 psi.
