Dealings with PCMforless

I'm thinking about having them burn a performance chip for me. Anybody deal with these people before ? Good or bad ? Comments welcome...Thanks.

Re: Dealings with PCMforless

I called them last week a couple times, they were great on the phone, Sent an email with some questions to Alvin, their TPI tuner he got back to me within 24hrs.

Ordered a chip from them on friday 13 may, when I called them I asked if they could get it to me by may 19th. Tracking shows as being shipped out monday afternoon, for a delivery of wed the 17th. I did pay for the 2 days shipping, about 12 bucks more than reg shipping.

As long as the chip gets here and works good I will have nothing but great things to say about them, so far has been very pleasant!

Re: Dealings with PCMforless

Put the chip in last night, went for a test drive this morning.

Light/part throttle no more surging and def has more power.

WOT, feel's very strong spins the tires easier that's for sure.

I am very happy thus far!

Re: Dealings with PCMforless

That is what i am wondering if i need i installed a set of headers on my 92 5.7 tpi camaro and i thought it was great but there was a lag on the throttle and on the rpms my friend stated to me that i need a tune to help out with the headers. I was wondering if thats what you guys had and if the pcm for less fixed it. Please would love any info asap as ima racing it again in 2 weeks.

I raced it before with stock manifold and smog pump n all - 15.02 was best time now i am doing 15.56 it looks to pull more up top but lag more please any tips help...

Re: Dealings with PCMforless

i have twice still cant get it rite going to try another suggestion they gave me tomorrow and if it doesnt work there going to take it back and refund me. the car ran alot better with the stock prom it blows my mind that the stock prom would make more power or even let it run that well and there prom makes it so under powered and laggin unless it was tuned incorrectly hope 2morrows adjustment makes my engine make the power i know it is capable of!

Re: Dealings with PCMforless

Is chip in backwards?

Do you see a rapid blink of CE light on key on? If so prom failure.

A property working prom on "key on engine off" is blink then on solid. Car starts CE goes off.
