calpac crossreference

i have a 1227747 ecm which calls for a 16051637 calpac, it has a 16060837 calpac in it (which is for a 1228746 ecm). will the calpacs innerchange? i had a custom chip made for the 1227747, but cant get it to run right on it, run better on the stock set up

Changing the CALPACK won't change how the engine runs unless the ECM is in limp mode.

Yes, they interchange.
