I have an accel dfi 6 and no way to look at sensors or data. i do not have a program or cable. can anyone help? should i switch to a thrustmaster or dfi 7? or is my dfi 6 still a good setup?

Yes they can get me a cable but i would need a computer that runs dos 3. I was hoping that someone had a setup already.

 

Correct, and that will be hard to find.
The Gen 6 was ahead of it's time, For what it was, they worked pretty well.
But the new Thruster is light years ahead of that Gen 6. I'm an Accel EMIC, I think there's a guy in Tampa Fl that still does Gen 6's, I'll see if I can get some info for you.

 

my car came with a gen 6 and variable injector controller, which was an aluminum board with 8 ***** on it. you could vary the duty cycle on each of the injectors with it. sold it not long after i got the car.
i would just buy an old laptop off of ebay or something and run it.

 

I would consider changing to a new system. accel? fast? big stuff? holley?
any thoughts

 

If you're going to drive the car then Accel would be the best. If its more drag then the bs3 would probably be the best.
I just helped someone "tune" a self tuning FAST XFI, it's over on lateral g. So much for the self tuning stuff.
