Will this wideband air /fuel ratio kit work with EBL? I plan in next 2 months to buy EBL and trying also to fill my a-pillar gauge pod with some gauges.
Another question is do i need this to tune motor is it worth spending $200 on it.
I could not find any info on who is running wideband with EBL.

With the output for data logging it will work with the EBL. They don't state whether that output is linear or not, although in this day & age it should be. I don't see the instruction manual on line, maybe you can get them to email it to you or ask them if the data logging output is linear.

I emailed them and here is the answer "The data output is designed to be tied into the cars computer".what else I can ask to make sure it will be working with EBL.

 

That is a rather bogus response.

Ask them what the conversion is from the output voltage to the reported AFR.

IOW: if the output voltage is currently at 1.6 volts, what is the AFR?

a wideband with the ebl is almost a must imo .the ebl is a great product i'm one of it's biggest fans . i do wish it had a safty built in that it would kill spark at a certain airfuel (user programable ) only cuz i run out of fuel an didn't realize it until i watched the data log . no critizem just a suggestion rbob

Yes get your EBL now, no on that WB unless you can get an AFR/voltage spec from somebody.

Or you could buy one that will not only work with EBL but has actual tech support like EBL... not sure what gauge is recomended?

the tt-1 is the one i'm running with the ebl . it works great plus you can also hook up gauge if you'd like .

Thank you RBob. Now I have to fix SES light - code 15 ( which I tried for past 3 months without results) and I will be ordering EBL to learn how to tune. Currently LO3 and I am planning to swap L31 and keep TBI.

Something tells me some WB controllers have an audible alarm option.

I run N20 and can monitor the A/f in my data logs. Never got too crazy with lean A/F as I started out filthy rich day one and snuck up on it..

I can see if you are under load and the A/F is very lean bad things happen. But the commanded PE A/F is driven off the VE tables so if you are good with the BLMs PE ( load) should be decent. Now with a power adder i can see benefit.
