Doing 5 speed swap on 91 z/28 350
When I bought my car it didn't have an ecm under the dash. I know being a 91 Z, it needs a 7730 ecm and I still have to buy one. What do I need to do to the ecm and wiring harness to make it compatible with the 5 speed swap so everything works like its supposed to? I know nothing about ecms other than they help the car to run. lol

Odds are it will need some tuning because of the differences between a stick and and an automatic. But that is up to you as to whether it will be worth the effort.

I did a swap from an auto to a t5. I didn't do any ECM changes and it seems to run fine. Im curious if there is any noticable differences between the 2 ecms and what they would be?
I bought the ECM for a 350 auto as it has the esc in there and correct me if im wrong these cars didn't come with a 5speed /350 so I think you would be stuck with the auto ECM either way. Good luck you are going to love it after the swap
