AUJP1350

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A 1991 CAMARO CONV I ACTUALLY TOOK IN ON TRADE IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION,BUT I AM HAVING A PROB WITH IT RUNNING RIGHT.. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO 2 MECHANICS BOTH ARE SAYING THE PROM IS WRONG IN THE CAR IT CAME WITH A 305 IT KNOW HAS A 350 BORED 30 OVER, ONE MECHANIC FOUND THTA THE CURRENT PROM IN THE CAR IS FROM A 3.1 CORSICS..LOL AND HE DID SOME RESEARCH AND THINKS THAT HE FOUND THE # OF THE PROM I MIGHT NEED, ''AUJP1350'' BUT CANNOT FIND ANYWHERE. MY OTHER MECH SAYS IT WOULD PROBABLY BE EASIER TO JUST FIND A NEW TPI WITH THE ECM AND THE PROM THAT ALL MATCH... CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE OR POSSIBLY GIVE ME SOME ADVICE...

Welcome to the boards. Your best bet would be to find someone who is selling a prom or ECM in the classified section on this site. If you need to know exactly which prom you need then start your own thread in the TPI sub-forum.
I know your still most likely learning how to use this site but for future reference, posting on a thread that is from 2001 is'nt the best way to get an answer. As I said though, welcome to the boards and good luck with your car.

the aujp is for 90-92 tpi speed density acdelco /gm part number 16151348 I have a couple of them. Thes were use in the 1227730 ecm 5.7L tpi automatic 700r4. There are others that will work anjf
