Has anyone had this problem?

I took my original AUJP1350 eprom from my car and put it into the pocket progammer. I selected the correct eprom type, saved the eprom to my C drive, everything seems to be going well. I bring up the file in my Tuner cats and it comes up just fine. But when I program a new prom (without changing the original bin) I install in in my car and the car barely starts. When it idles, it runs bad and the SES light comes on. When I install the original eprom back in, it runs just fine.

Did you verify that your new chip took the programming? Did you erase it before programming? etc. etc.

Try this. Load the original BIN into the programmers buffer, put the chip into the programmer, then select the "verify" option from the list of choices. This will tell you if the chip took the program.
