looking for a FAST XFI technician to hire for the weekend.
Not sure if I can even ask this on here but I figured I might as well ask if someone knows what going on.
I installed a 383 TPiS and D1SC and then took it to Conn. to have a shop do the wiring since I'm no good at that type of thing.
It's totally run by a FAST XFI System and MSD6aL. The shop took out the orginal ECM & wires and used all the FAST harnesses. Now I'm left with no speedo/odometer/cruise/radio and they couldn't even figure out how to get it back.
I do have....
1. VSS buffer box from an 88 gta
2. 91 SD engine bay harness on the way (just in case)
3. Original ECM/PROM
Open to offers and/or advice. I will pay you for your time if someone is interested in helping me out mid july or august. zip 13323

I'd be willing to bring it to a shop or garage for the help, just let me know how far away.

Efiguy, I have a fast classic sefi set JPEG on my small block any chance u can help me with a tune? I still have to set my crank ref angle to 50 degrees btdc, right now I had it at TDC to fire the car up...but tuning is out of my league right now and i really don't want to strap it to a dyno right off the bat (Trans, converter and motor all have zero miles and don't want to chance it breaking...) just looking for a good base tune, I don't really know how to do the whole down load and install from my computer to the fast...although I do have the fast software installed on my laptop for the tuning....thanks..dave
If you are able to help I can pm you all my car info or maybe get a lil tgo tuning tutorial!

Re: looking for a FAST XFI technician to hire for the weekend.
from dealing with the EZ system one of the things i have discoverd is the stock ECM is still needed on the 90-92 cars to run the items you listed as GM intergrated alot of things into the ECM that wasnt before like the spark control module.
you will deff need the buffer.
if the harness isnt hacked, re install it and find in the HELM book the wires that supply power to it. later you can cut away the stuff you wont need. this is what i did with my EZ and my 89. i was concerned about having this issue with my car and the first thing i did after we got my EZ installed is jack the rear wheels up to see if the speedo works and it did.
