Need help with scanner readings 85 TPI

On my 85 Iroc tpi Im getting a code 23 mat sensor. So I hooked up my scanner to see whats goin on. Key on engine off mat showed -40 coolant temp was 90 degrees. Within 2 mins after engine on went to 33-35f. After 10 mins it was at 125. Does that sound like a bad sensor? And my block learn was at 108 and my integrater was between 98 and 104. My car has always ran rich but i used to have those numbers in the 115-120 range. What could be causing this? That mat sensor? My car still feels like it runs good. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Bad sensor and/or connector for it. The -40* reading is the same as if the sensor was unplugged. Look for corrosion on the sensor terminals and the connector.

Thank u. Do u think it could be dumping more fuel in because its thinking its cold? Thus causing my weird block learn and integrater #s.

Yes, common problem with bad sensor reading cold. Cold = choke/more fuel.
