ecm will not communicate with scan tool
i have an 88 iroc vert w/ 305 LB9 and it will not communicate with my snap-on scan tool (model mt2500) i have gm factory service manuals i have checked every ground on whole car done all tests in gm manuals and scanner manual replaced ecm and prom have 4.5 volts on E and M of ALDL Ground on A of ALDL field service mode works normal gives me code 12
car still WILL NOT talk to scanner .anyone else had this???????????? any help?????

Page 31 states faulty ecm , I haven't used a mt2500 in years and don't recall using a 10k resister to start data flow it must be in the key.

Page 31 states faulty ecm , I haven't used a mt2500 in years and don't recall using a 10k resister to start data flow it must be in the key.

tried all those tests & eveything is what it says it should be and still no communication
