Could anyone tell me what these wires do?
Recently bought a 92 3.1 RS. Getting rough and fast idle (1000-1300).I look at the ECM and find these wires. I do not know where to look to determine what they are responsible for. Any help would be appreciated

Not sure about anybody else but it would help me if you took a picture showing where in the engine bay (Or under the dash?) those were and what it is around. Are you unable to trace the wires? Are there any other cut wires you have found?

Picture was taken from under dash, where the ECM is. Cut wires appear to go into the door panel. Guessing power locks? Car has the ability for power locks, but they do not work. I Cannot trace the wires of the connector with blue, red, gray, gray/black wires from the bottom half of the picture I attached. It heads towards the front of the dash, but then I quickly lose it

Ok, all of the wires (nearly all) that go to the ecm will come in from a panel that is just in front of the drivers side door. So just if you are assuming it goes to the door because it goes through that panel you are wrong. Go ahead and drop the ecm down and find out if the wires might go to that. I f it doesn't go to the ecm and your speedometer is working fine I would say it isn't the ecm. Then just check to make sure all of the power locks and windows and heater, and speakers all work. Go from there.
