OK im posting because i have issues with my car it has a high idle. I have done everything you do in order to reset it. Set everything just like your suppose to And my car will run great all day awesome around 700 rpm at idle. But as soon as i turn it off and turn it back on Bam high idle then i have to repeat the process. Like it forgets it and the ecm is bad or this stupid none factory chip is causing it. So i wanna get a new ecm and factory chip for my car. So if anyone knows where i can get one plz let me know. Its a 88 pontiac formula 350 and its a auto. Im wanting to sell the car so i need to fix this . Thnaks
