surging problem driving me crazy
Okay, since about march of last year my iroc has been doing this thing where when you let of the throttle to coast, the motor surges and you can feel the motor just fall on its face. Then if you tap the gas the rpms come back up and its fine or if you wait long enough it'll come back on its own. Is this an egr problem? I was told my car was pulling an egr code and it might be stuck open and tomorrow im planning on going to buy a new egr to put in. Has anyone else had this problem or know exactly what it is? Also its kinda hard starting like the cold start injector isnt working and to me it doesn't feel like the torque converter isn't locking like maybe the car is in limp home mode?? Also can vacuum leaks cause this? Ive looked on here for 9 months trying to pin point the problem but no luck. Its been driving me crazy and also seems to be getting horrible fuel mileage. Thanks in advance

start with code 34 diagnostic than 32. The 32 is usually a bad temp sensor or solonoid .

Re: surging problem driving me crazy
Setting the minimum idle speed is important on the MAF TPI cars. Also, if the OEM Multec injectors are still in the engine they are likely bad (shorted coils).
