BS3-GEN3 Users.....

I have a question for all BS3 users.. I just purchased a used BS3 Gen3 ECM/ECU for my GTA.. Im building a stroker for it and decide to go with an aftermarket engine management system. Any hows, the BS3 does not come with the harness. So my questions are these;

One; Is it possible, or has any one modified the stock harness to be used with the BS3?

Two; do you use the stock original ecm/ecu to run anything at all? Or do you totally eliminate the stock computer out of the equation and run just strictly the BS3?

Thanks for any and all your help/suggestions..

I can, but the complete harness from BS3 is $700(plus)... so, i was just curious if any one had used the original harness off of the vehicle and converted it to be used with the BS3.. Also, im not sure if you try to send/post a link with your response, but i wasnt able to use it. thanks a lot for the response any how.. no one else has replied at all lol

How would you attach the interface on the BS3 ECU to stock GM harness? I am missing something? Stock GM female end of GM harness cannot just plug into BS3? Can it? Dont you "need" the female side interface that the BS3 harness has? If you had that you then could solder your stock harness to that pigtail.....

Hope you didn't pay a lot for it. They're great for drag cars, lots of datalogging, good traction control etc but don't drive all that well.
