i have 1987 iroc.it was a 350tpi car with a th350.i have a 400 ready to drop in,but i got a deal on a t-5 set up.my question is will my computer and chip from the auto also work with the manual tranny?i don't care if i have ses code for something simple,just as long as it runs until i get the extra cash to have a chip burned.thanx for all responses!!

Yes it will work just not very well. I swaped out a 700r4 for a t5 on my 86 IROC. The auto chip will get you buy until you can get a knew chip or program your own.
