Question about performance chips?

I've been looking into getting a chip for my car. I have heard a lot about Hypertech, but another company named Fastchip has caught my interest- Anyone ever used their products?

In general, what kind of gain (both HP and 0-60) should a chip give me?

305 TPI
0-60 in 6.8 (timed)
2.73 Posi (3.42 or 3.73 to come)
Flowmaster exhaust
T-tops
Red w/ black racing stripes
Pioneer headunit, stock speakers, Rockford 10'' punch woofers

Ricers beware...I eat you three meals a day

And the Camaro said to the Civic "Now, I know what you're thinking...in all of that mess, did he have 8 cylinders, or only 6? You just gotta ask yourself one question...do you feel lucky? Well do ya....punk???

I have a chip from Fastchip. Can't tell you how much HP it was worth though, since I did a bunch of things at the same time and it's a custom chip for my car.Been real satisfied with it though.
Most everyone on this board agrees that next to burning your own custom chip, Ed Wright at Fastchip is the best.
I needed a custom chip because I swapped a 350 in place of the TBI 305,and I have a manual transmission.Used the truck 350 TBI injectors and an aftermarket cam too.

You'd be much better off learning how to do your own, and then actually tune the chip to your combination.

If you cant, or dont want, to do your own custom proms, then Ed Wright at Fastchips is good. Otherwise, dont bother. Hypertech, ADS, JET, etc, are all junk and not worth your money.
