Car: GTA 89
Engine: L98
Transmission: TH700
Axle/Gears: BW 9 bolt
l98 355 idling problem..bad prom?
Hello everyone
My friend has a problem with your freshly 355 build. Below are spec of that motor:
1989 L98 bored 0.030
speed pro H631CP20 pistons
AFR 180cc heads with 65cc chambers
ZZ9 cam with 1.6 roller rockers
Accel SuperRam
Vette C4 L98 injectors
58mm dual TB
Engine is assembled and working fine except idling. We cannot set the idle lower than 1100rpm. Of course we using procedure on IAC and TPS adjustment.
We check for vacuum leaks. no vacuum leaks ;-)
Friend has a hypertech chip in ECM. cause this could this situation?
