NEED HELP doing 0411 PCM Crank Relearn Procedure???

I really need help doing a crank relearn. I have done the research and have tried doing this procedure on a OTC genisys but got a warning that parking brake was not set. found a post here that showed how to bypass that by grounding wires at the pcm to make it think parking brake is set, but no luck with that either. does anyone have a program i can load to my laptop and use a OBDll to usb cable? really would like to clear my service engine light. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I added the question in the Case Relearn thread that Dimented24/7 wrote up but will ask here also. Do you need to set the Parking Brake or just press the Foot Brake? Seems to imply that you press the Foot Brake, does not say SET the Parking Brake. I could be wrong but easy enough to try. HTH!

The ones I've seen says you have to set the parking brake.
