6.0 LS / TH400 / 411 PCM tuning for startup & boost

Here's what I've got:
2002 LQ4 engine from Yukon XL - Cable Operated Throttle Body
2002 Wiring Harness, Thinned out and removed the Trans components, and the rear O2 sensors
2002 Mass-Air sensor and intake tube from the Yukon XL (may eliminate it?)
411 PCM from a 5.3L 2002 Silverado with a 4L60E (someone snagged the 6.0 computer before I got to pulling the engine... If I can find one of these would it be a better starting point than the 5.3l tune?)
Trans is a TH400 right now and if I get serious with the car I might go to a transbrake powerglide...

I'm turbocharging it so eventually I'm going to run 8-10 PSI boost through it but right now I'm just wanting to get the engine running in the chassis and everything hooked up before bolting the turbo on and fabricating the intake plumbing.

SO: What parameters do I need to disable or enable or change to get an acceptable starting point for a tune? I know I can go through and just blindly change all the auto trans calibration stuff but that's really not ideal... Right now I'm using PCM Hammer to read and flash the computer and TunerPro to edit the BIN files.

I've read up on eliminating the MAF and it running SD only - and it sounds like that's the way to go with boost for a mainly strip vehicle but I've also read something about starting with a "COS 2 bin file" for boost but haven't been able to find where I could get that?

Any help is really appreciated - last time I was working on tuning it was burning chips for an '89 TPI 355 higher compression engine with a decent cam... I'm hoping that this will be a bit easier since there are no chips to pull and replace.

Re: 6.0 LS / TH400 / 411 PCM tuning for startup & boost

I have a 411 pcm in my 89 trans am, but i am using efi live to tune with. Not sure about the tuning rig you are using and haven't seen it before. I am using the 411 pcm with regular sbc so i don't use the stock LS timing tables, but most everything else is stock in the bin as I am using a 2002 corvette tune. I am speed density only. You can search on LS1 tech and find the .bin repository for a 6.0 LS tahoe or pickup truck to see the stock tables to start with.
