Dumping the ECM

Can I just pull my ECM on my 87 carburated Camaro , If I can is the rewiring without it a major pain. My only thought is I have 2800 to 3200 stall on it. I heard their is a fix for that.

For someone with limited experience, it would be an insurmountable job.

Rather than destroying your car's wiring, fix whatever is causing the problem instead. If that is beyond your skill level, take the car to a reputable repair shop.
