ECM Rebuild

I have an 87 Iroc that the computer failed. Ground switching from injectors shorted out. I purchased a used ECM and it works fine. The used one appears to be from an 86 and the EEPROM is soldered on the board and not in a socked so it is not easily changed. My old computer had the socket style and I had a Hypertech stage 2 chip in it. Long story short, I want to send my original ECM (I like how it is programmed for the shift points better) out to be repaired and keep the other as a spare. Any suggestions on places that rebuild/repair the ECM's?

Re: ECM Rebuild

You can send it in to RockAuto and use it as a core towards a cardone 776571.
