ECU cooling fan signal
Hi guys, i accidently ran +12v switch power to the green wire with tracer from the ECU. is the signal wire a negative signal? if so would it have blown something inside the ECU? Car starts and runs fine, gauge works fine but now just after 220deg im not getting any voltage from that green wire with white tracer from the ECU. what is the chance that something small blew and i can repair it myself?

Re: ECU cooling fan signal
It would be helpful to know which ECM this is. As for the ECM controlling the fan relay, it provides a ground to activate the relay. So connecting +12 volts to it can fry the driver if it was trying to turn on the fan relay.
