Knock sensor

Not sure if this is the best place for this question, but here goes. I have a 383 that is controlled by a Holley HP. I have a HSR for the intake. This is in an 86 Iroc. When I first was going to swap the engine, it was just going to be a simple 350 swap. I had bought most of my parts ahead of time, and this included the Knock Sensor for a 350 (since original engine was still the 305). Is this Knock sensor good to use with the 383? Also, I read some of the Holley forum where it talks about rewiring the standard pigtail for 2 or 3 wire sensors to be compatible with the Holley harness that came with the Holley HP. I rewired it to the type it said I have. So, Has anyone set these up on a Holley HP, and do I have the correct Knock sensor for the noise of a 383 is what I'm trying to find out. Thanks for any help.
