LS based EFI on old school sbc?
Greetings NASA scientists,
Not sure if I'm in the correct forum.
For a digital tuning illiterate, is it possible to convert a old school sbc to a factory LS-based fuel injection system using the EFI Connection Co. 24X sbc crank sensor etc in the timing cover, an aftermarket single plane with injector bosses, some kind of throttle body, an LS ECM, a standard non computer HEI distributor(like Sniper EFI does)?
Procure the correct components, then bring it all to get tuned at a local shop.
Seems there's perpetual 90% "mostly" complete issue with the aftermarket self learning EFI's, not to mention the reliability compared the the factory stuff....at least in everything I've been reading.
This would be for a street L31 or hopefully a 400sbc.
Thank you

Not really any different than using an easier solution like my LINK ECU adapter that allows me to run full sequential by adding 6 wires and can then be tuned on the dyno. I'm currently using the Holley/MSD Dual Sync distributor. If I wanted to mount a crank trigger I could run full COP ignition but I don't currently see the need for it.
