so b4 my mom passed away 8 months ago she bought me a trans am that had a worn out engine in it but i didn't get to do a swap b4 she passed away on me so now im able to build it to what i like i pulled the old 5.0 tpi fuel injected engine out on my 1986 Pontiac trans am and i put a 1968 327 smc engine down in it with a carb and now i really don't know how to wire it up and be able to use the original dash cluster i want it as if i never did anything to it any help would do im trying to build this car in
remembrance of my mom and so i can pass it to my son when he grows up the pic at the bottom is what i had in it and the one on top is the one i put in it

Shouldn't be too hard. You can go thru the big firewall harness on the drivers side and find the wires for, coolant, oil pressure and tach. I can't remember how the Volt gauge works but I believe it comes thru the gauge power from the fuse box, not 100% sure on that
