I bought the kit which i completed today, and i have the lastest version. When i try and connect i get the 2 changing characters at the bottom and a bunch of characters pop up which i assume that means it has the correct 64 data. When i run the program i get no data what-so-ever, everything is zero. I did at one point get all sorts of changing data but it wasn't correct.. the RPM's were going from 200 to 345 to 5600 to 250.. it was VERY random. It says on the website to connect to the orange wire on the ADL, but there are two of them.. i tried both but still nada. What am i doing wrong? I assume i wired the board correctly because it picks up some data in the begining, but who knows.

Any help is apprectiated!!

Not sure if you have an answer to this, but make sure you check the options and set the ECM to "diagnostic" mode instead of "offline" mode.

I talked to Craig and he sorted me out.

The problem i am having now is that when the car moves the program locks up. It will work great while at idle, but as soon as i get above idle in gear it craps out. I can rev the car in idle and its fine. I think it might be the computer i am using. The battery will not hold a charge so i have about 2 min to try it.

Just get a 12volt adaptor that will work with your computer...That should work, right?

I will have to buy an AC/DC adaptor. The output of the power supply is 18V. Or i can buy another battery.

I would think that simply buying a 150 watt DC/AC convertor to use in the car would be the best option ($40) or so.

That is what I plan to do if my battery starts having issues. Thankfully, for now, the work laptop I have has a 2 hour 15 min battery life.
