LT1 Computer ?

Hey Fellaz, I have a chance to pick up a LT1 with low miles for a good price.I've already done the T56 swap on my87 T/A, but the new motor has a computer for a auto tranny.
Are they the same or do I have to get a computer for a manual tranny car?........Thanks

The ECMs (actually PCMs) are the same from "model year to model year", but the actual programming (BIN) is different. Depending on which year of LT1 it is, you can still re-program the memory of the PCM - up to 1995s.

1994/1995 8051s are the best PCMs and supports SEFI.
