Lesser of two evils.
Ok guys,
I have 2 memcals, 1 is a 305 memcal that is known good, car ran off of it untill I spun every bearing i could
. The other i ran the prom ID and came up with it being a vette memcal (350). I read in an old post that glenn wrote that the vettes had an oil temp sensor that the camaro's dont have. So basically 1 memcal with throw me an SES, the other memcal should work fine but is for a 305 (now running a 355) Which of the two should I go with untill later when I can pick up a more appropriate memcal?
Also im running an ARAP bin, I have 200cc Sportsman II's and a 224/230 @.05 duration, the heads are cast and the combo should raise "dynamic compression" thus im assuming I'll need a whole lot less timing than a stock vehicle. So just how much timing should I yank from the ARAP for my break in? 5 degrees accross the entire board? more?
Thanks
