Some Questions

I finally got around to getting my BIN file dump off my stock 1992 chip at school.

I got home and compared the values off somebody elses 305 dump and they are totally different. I am using WinBin and it does sometimes automatically close and says some error but I don't thik that the bug is displaying incorrect values.

For instance 400 RPM & 100kPa is displaying 11.95 spark advance

The screen dump on this forum of the same chip (not sure if auto or manual might play a role?) well on that screen dump at the same load and RPM was 0 spark advance.

Pretty much all the values are slihtly off and in some instances like above are way off. Which of the 2 spark advances sounds more right? I am just starting hence the stupid question.

If anyone else is using WinBin I have had a look thorugh the values table and see some strange values.

Like the Engine size liters

RawHEX Litres
8B .2

Anyone know what is up with that. I have a 5 liter so should it not show 5 litres?

Just to cover bases

With winbin make sure you set it to "Show In Calculated Values"

I figured it out why the incorrect values were showing.

I was using WinBin V0.14 and using a V.011 ECU file!

I have gone back to WinBin V0.11 and it works perfectly.

Anyone by any chance know if there is an updated V0.14 ECU file for WinBin V0.14 around?
