which EPROM???
I have a 92 305 TBI car with a 1228746 ECM, and 2732A EPROM type. My problem is which chip do I use
At http://www.jdr.com/interact/item.asp...-epromcircuits I find two chips with the 2732A number...
2732A-250 - EPROM(D2732AF1)4KX8 250NS 21VPPG 24CERAM - $5.49
or
2732A-200 - EPROM(2732A-2F1)4KX8 21VPPG 24CERDIP - $5.89
what's the difference between these two? I'm a true newby at this stuff, and I would greatly appreciate any help from any seasoned chip burners.
Also, all I need to burn chips is the Pocket Programmer, EPROM Eraser, a bin editing software(WinBin or TunerCat), and one of the chips listed above...right?
Thanks in advance for any help! Hopefully I will soon be burning my own chips

You are probably going to want to buy a AT29C256-12PC,
AT29C256-90PC ECT. THE -# Stands for eprom speed in nano seconds(12pc)=120ns (90)=90ns.
these proms you can just write over them w/o the use of an eraser and will last for many of burns.

With my new adapter, you SHOULD be able to use the 29C256 PROMs with the TBI setups. Just need a little more testing...
