in the 7747 code at location ld2f5 there is some sort of map air flow scalar (i imagine the 730 has somethign similar) which piqued my interest. I noticed its used later on to act on the integrator as some sort of multiplier and its used heavily in the egr routine. I think i found one instance where it multiplies alone and not part of some other routine too.

what exactly does this do?

the reason it caught my attention is because ive been tryingto figure out for the life of me how the injector constant plays a part in the grand scheme and as far as ive found its just a multiplier for everything else which dumbfounded me because then it would sort of make that equation you do to find it senseless since no matter what it cuts pw if you cut it.. even after 100% ve it just multiplies all those things less. Thus making the ve table % sort of pointless. If i have a grasp on it that is. The idea of the map representing air flow in the ecm somehow would have made it all make sense and if it was adjustable i could see everything else coming in line for that BPW equation to make it work.


if it is a table or setting how would one set it and what would it represent?
