Question For Grumpy (or anyone else)
Question For Grumpy (or anyone else)
My vehicle does not use the EGR or the Transmission downshift so I was trying to get a signal from these lines to verify different bins on the new Craig Moates 256 adapter. I cannot seem to turn on either line. I also do not have the neutral indicator line hooked up, does this have to be connected to get a signal from these two lines? It is open ended now, I would have thought that would indicate an "in gear" signal. I do have VSS.

Your going to have to go thru all the perameters to make sure they are being executed.
If you want to verify the various bins, try loading every other one, and you'll see the SES light flicker as you switch past the blank bin.
At 0000-0FFF is posistion 7
1000-1FFF is #6
on down the line.
I had already tried out the loading various locations, works great!
I just loaded one bin at a time and varified where it was located.
I was hoping this would be an obvious way to check which bin was running while driving and the differences.
Next I gotta see it switch bins while running, and how everything follows. Can't get back to until Monday now.
I did get a good start on a Windows based BIN Compiler for it last night, should have it for use by Monday also.
