MAF table changes question.....again....
MAF table changes question.....again....
OK, this keeps rattling in my pea brain-lots of folk say leave the maf tables alone......unless you modified your maf..... OK, looking at that I can see where if you "gut" the maf the calibration of actual air flowed has changed....
But.....I've seen/read where different bins can have different maf tables-now this is programming from GM.....but these different bins all have to have been "designed" to work with the same stock GM Maf sensor......so then GM has "tweaked" the maf tables themselves to make them work with the same maf sensors on different engines!!!???? And it did/does work for GM!!!??? I think I'll take a look at the bins with diff maf tables to compare the other related tables-lv8's etc. for any correlations-or has anyone already done that?
Hmmmm, I'm thinkin' of giving Gordon Killibrew a call on that one.....
Thoughts????
(BTW-I have been able to get the blm at 127 to 129 thru all the cells and gps with maf table adjustments-granted it does take some time!)

That's also in part why I always suggest people start with the ARAP .bin file.
Which different engines are you talking about?. Did you go thru all of the various applications to see if in fact they were the same MAF?.
I mean feel free if you want to try tuning the MAF tables, but don't be surprised when you never get things Correct. And if you do rehash the MAF tables then remember everthing that involves LV8 and Gms/Sec is also skewed by how much you correct things.
