What are idle BLM tuning options?

I've played with my injector constant to the point where my part throttle BLMs are looking super nice, I need to fine tune WOT more, but the Idle is pretty dang rich.

I dont believe I'll benifit from PS vs Voltage type tables because I idle a little higher (have to) and my voltage output is way to stable, in fact If I did lower pump shots for low voltage area's I'd screw myself when the car warms up because most alternators will work a little better cool.

and maf tables not being designed for fuel tuning, is there any options I'm missing? How can I lower my Idle blms.

Do you mean PW vs Battery Voltage?
I don't believe?.
Have you tried it?.

Alternator heat isn't an issue, it's output voltage that matters.

Well according to scans and monitoring the voltage changes in all of the wrong places for it to be usefull, and thats even misleading because its almost as steady as one could ask for, no power loss or power spike area's, it pulls about the same voltage all the time. So changing "PW vs Battery Voltage" if effective at all, would only be effective sparatically, and not just at idle.

My idle voltages is the same as cruise or moderate acceleration voltage.

Yes, there is an option. It's called SD.

Truely beautifull... Exactly what I wanted to hear.

Anyways, If SD was at all an option or easy sollution It would be in. However my efforts to find a reasonable harness over the last year have been in vain. I had the 870, hacked up the harness for the 165, our yards dont even have tpi cars in them, we're to ******* for even that so I can't go pull out harness pieces and connectors at leisure. As soon as I can find a gm harness for SD that isn't hacked up I'll be off and running and you can tell me all about it then.

Untill then my POW A5S needs to figure this one out.

tpi_roc, look at the idle PW compared to the part throttle PW's... mine is at about 2.3ms at idle.

The battery corrections have a big effect at idle because the PW is so small... less at larger PW's. Just try lowering the values a bit. I found that two increments at 12.8 and 14.4 moved by BLM's at a PW of 2.3 by about 5.

Ahhhh

Well chit, I was thinking of it as a percentage chage, thus it would have the same impact across the board...

You've enlightened me...

Have you looked at the using the "808"s code like Tomcat mentioned? Sounds very simple and effective.

Yea it does sound super simple, very nice...

It is still underdeveloped in my opinion for an every day vehicle, I haven't literally cracked it open (which i might do now) but another issue is the metric/standard conversions, I'd have to "relearn" a few things that could really make tuning more of a chore than it can already be at times.

Well I opened it up and all I can say is WOW

I'm impressed...

Im still afraid of it though, however I guess it wouldn't be to much work to go back to MAF if all else fails....
