heavily modded 383 w stock chip....

thank you for taking the time to read and maybe awnser this post.... i don't really know if this is the place for it and if it's not i apologise!!!

my question is will my 383, specs below ,run with the stock chip and computer until i can get one programmed? it is a 89 maf setup..

350 bored .030 over
scat 1 peice seal 383 crank
5.7 scat rods
speedpro 10.23:1 w 68cc chambers pistons
afr 195cc streets w 68cc chambers
comp 8-433-8 hyd roller
holley stealth ram intake w non adj reg
ford racing 30lbhr injectors
stock computer, sensors and harness

It might run decent if you leave the stock injectors in there. Just don't go very high rpm. And the transitional stuff, acceleration enrichment, will be weak. If this thing makes close to 400 HP you'd be better off going to speed density, like a 730. It's been covered before on this board so a search will reveal all.

You'll run pig rich until you re-program the injector constant. Then when you 383 maxes the MAF it will run lean - possibly too lean.

You need a chip.

This board is for people that want to learn how to burn eproms, not for referrals etc.
