Argg need a Pocket Programmer software disk

Reinstalling it for a new computer setup and my disk is bad . Anyone know if Intronics has the software posted somewhere... or if some one can send me a zip file of it? Grrr, i had a day of tuning planned .

Hmm well it looks like you have to pay for the software??? wow, thats a major blow. I \would hope they have some old version for free. Anyways, I call xtronics and Im all setup sinceI bought it within the last year

Yes, if you bought your Pocket Programmer within the last year, you SHOULD get the software.

Did you find that their server won't aceept e-mail any more also?

No didnt notice that. i jsut caleld, got some guy and he hooked me up with how to download it. Sort of scarry I think. Id hope that even past your year that you could at least get the version of software that came with your programmer... luckily I didnt have to get into that.

Actually, you are better off with the "latest and greatest" version. Often there are "bugs" with certain eproms, computers or operating systems which have been fixed in later versions. I ALWAYS like to get the latest version.

As for the disk, once you down load it, just put a copy on a diskette. Personally, I prefer the Windows Version which won't fit on a diskette IIRC. I then just save those downloads into "SET FILE" directories and back that up. A lot of companies don't even send out Setup disks/CDs anymore, or only at additional cost. You MUST download them from the Internet.
