flash prom question
When does the programmer apply the voltage reading,writing or both.I want to read my flash chip but don't want to fry it.From what I understand I have to set the program to 27c128 for reading the image.

Should be able to read the image using 27C128 or 256 settings off a 29C256. Don't know about the voltage timing and all, sounds like what you propose is a safe bet though.
