On SD cars, the Injector Constant is directly related to your VE Tables.

When I drafted my first BIN for my Miniram, I found that I had to lower my Injector Constant significantly below what I should have with 24# SVO @ 48 psi. I had to run an injector constant of 21. And yes, I have the right injectors.

I ulimtately "rescaled" all my VE tables and increased my Injector Constant to 24.

Moral of story, you Injector Constant is directly linked to your VE Tables. You can make it ANYTHING provided you develop a proper corresponding VE Table. But I feel that it is best to keep the constant close to what they should flow - but it isn't necessary.

I've got a 406 tpi and have my constant at 33lb/hr w/ 165 ecm.I modded the first three maf tables to lean the bottom end.It takes a constant of 37-38 to get the blms above 128.The constant set at 36 will net the most 128 blms. But there is lean and rich spot all over.So I would rather have the upper maf tables matched to the constant and have rich lower tables.Thats better than a lean upper tables and 128s at cruise &/or idle.My experience is it's better not adjusting the upper maf tables. That is the only way to set the constant with my combo.I'm sure if I got an aftermarket intake the constant would lower some. But since I want more control over tuning I'll be swichting to sd.
