MAF guidance

I'm new to chip burning, but I'm not lazy. I've searched here and at DIY-EFI looking for a good tutorial that is specific to MAF cars. Everything I find that is a good step by step, such as the tuningtips.doc at DIY-EFI, is for speed density. I keep reading about VE tables and spark vs kpa. My setup doesn't use that stuff. Could one of the gurus step in here and give me a walk through. Could someone take a few minutes to maybe assemble a basic outline for MAF. Maybe even turn it into a sticky. If this has been done already and I missed it somehow, then just point me in the right direction. I don't want anybody to spoon feed me or hold my hand, just get me pointed in the right direction.

Well you probably want to use inj constants to get your driving range (liight/med throttle cruise range) as close to 128 as you can,you will probably have to use maf table 1 to get your idle
blms good once you change inj constants.
use lv8 accel enrichment vs. delta lv8 to get rid of any bogs
or lean backfires you may experience after inj constants and maf table 1 in line.
Use PE change F/A ratio vs RPM for wot.
That should get you started and get your driving and milage
pretty good.
Then when you want great milage start using the hwy mode on the arap bin - you wont be disapointed.

Reading thru the final answers will give you some background, and answers.
Timing is RPM vs VE, in MAP or RPM vs LV8, just different terms for engine load.
RBob just posted exactly how the MAF cals are done, here, gotta look again.
