High BLMs
High BLMs
I just got my diag cable and went for a quick run with Craig's software. My BLMs are all in the 136-140 range. Engine mods to the car right now are just K&N airfilter, screens removed from MAF (fins still there), tb airfoil, 3" flowmaster exhaust and gutted cat (will be putting a high flow cat on when I get my headers). That's it for engine mods. Could these account for the slightly high BLM values? Could these high BLM values account for the engine running rich in open loop mode? I still need to buy a Pocket Programmer before I can do my own PROM burning, but I want an idea of what I need to do before I start in on it. (I also have Craig's zif kit for the ECM) What other diagnostic values should I be looking at for tuning purposes? I'm not even sure what 70% of the values in Craig's Diag software mean. Where can I go to get details?
Actually, I need to know if I'm looking at the right values. In the log file, there are values for...
BLM cell number
BLM or course fuel corr
INT value
fine fuel corr
The BLM or course fuel corr values are all in the 136-145 range. The int values are in the 120-130 range, with occasional values slightly outside that range. The fine fuel corr values appear to run 0-3 values lower then the corresponding int values in the table.
