i have a stock 86 5.0 tpi t/a exhaust and hyperjunk only and ram air setup will a custom chip realy wake the car up????what kind of et #'s thanks been reading the boards and would like to get in to doing my own but it seems confusing thanks

 

with a stock motor with air mods i doubt youll find much. most likely you will however improve the driveability and gas milage. you could tunr up 5hp or 35hp depends on how crappy the hypertech prom is.

 

thanks the hypertec chip did not do anything at all at least i can not tell the diff. a guy made a chip but the timing is way off and it pings with 93 octane and oct. booster so i took it out i have the 3inch exhaust with magnaflo muffler and recently deleted the cat.was wanting headers and some gears but i think i could squeeze more from what i have. maybe not
