Different programmers, same job????

HI I have seen so many programmers now, I am totally confused on what I need. I have a 93 TBI Caprice and have a
huge draw to EFI chip tuning.
I am really new at this but I have included
a list of programmers that I have found.
I will only be working with TBI for now(that's all I have).
Any recommendations?

1) Epromer5 Eprom Programmer by, USTR.net

2) BK Precision model 844 device programmer

3) Xeltek ROMMASTER/2

4) HI-LO Chip Programmer Used for Alarm Security

5) Or just the Pocket Programmer with Flash
that I always see on the forums.

Just trying to make a list of things to buy.

Thanks for the opinions so far guys, anyone else have
any likes or dislikes about these programmers. It seems
the prices go from about $100 US to $400 US. Any real
reason for this if the use is strickly automotive?

Just trying to educate myself as much as I can.
I'm almost cross-eyed from reading all past posts
one by one in the TBI and PROM areas.
